2006 has been a very successful year for ERGIL during which many prestigious local and international projects were completed. Some of ERGIL's clients during 2006 include KBR, Halliburton, and BP.

2006 also marks the introduction of new ERGIL brands to better serve you. These brands are, Rhino Pipeline Equipment, StorageTech, Ergil Corrosion Control, and Ergil Construction.

Rhino Pipeline Equipment consists of products related only to the pipeline industry. Pig Receiver, Pig Launcher, pig receiver and launcher closures, and seals, pig signals, pig receiver and launcher interlocking systems, trolley, and jib cranes are some of Rhino's well known products. In fact Rhino also made a name for itself as an engineering company that specializes in design and engineering of the most complicated pig receiver and launcher systems.

ERGIL's other brand StorageTech, which is comprised of the oldest product range that Ergil Group has been manufacturing, has a wide product line for oil, gas, and liquid storage tanks. StorageTech products include pressure vacuum vents, gauge hatches, flame arresters, emergency relief valves, absorption branches, floating roofs, fire-fighting equipment, and level indicators. Years of experience in storage tank equipment manufacturing enabled ERGIL to gain the reputation of being a technological pioneer in its field. There is no doubt that continuing research and development is the key to StorageTech's continued success.

Ergil Corrosion Control (ECC) is one of the pioneer companies in Turkey in the field of corrosion control. Experience, team work, research, and monitoring the world market closely made Ergil Corrosion Control one of the best corrosion control & cathodic protection solution providers. ECC not only manufactures cathodic protection equipment such as transformer rectifier units, anodes, insulation kids, and measuring boxes, but also specializes in engineering, design and erection services.

Working for customers like KBR, and BP has been a good experience for Ergil Construction. Thanks to our experienced and well educated stuff, Ergil Construction was able to finalize some unique projects in 2006, and aims to go further in the Middle East market.

Ergil Group (and its joint venture Avrasya) was awarded a contract for construction of Emergency Drain Down Facility by BP / BTC Co. EDDF consists of the pipeline system located at GB18.The EDDF includes a 8,500 m³ tank buried tank, designed with double containment.

In developing the BCT Project, the project partners established intergovernmental and host country agreements with each of the countries through which the Pipeline is routed. Under the Host Governmental Agreement with Georgia the BTC Pipeline Project was issued an Environmental Permit for construction subject to certain “Conditions of Consent.” One of these Conditions of Consent is the provision of an underground reservoir facility to allow emergency drain-down of the BTC Pipeline within the Kodiana Section.

This environmentally important one of a kind project EDDF will be a good example that shows respect to the environment and local people.

Ergil Group is proud to introduce its new brand Rhino Pipeline Equipment. 

Beside its construction projects, Ergil’s products are highly demanded by native and foreign companies last couple of years; therefore Ergil focused on each product line differently and developed different branding strategies, research and development methods for its product lines, pipeline equipment is one of them.  

Each year, Ergil has became a major player in pig receiver and launcher market, and “definitely marketing Ergil’s products under different names will be more beneficial for Ergil customers, because before sale and after sale service will be better, and prices will be more competitive because of lower production costs”, says Riza Altunergil, marketing manager of Ergil Group International.  

Ergil Group is also plans to introduce another brand for its storage tank accessories, such as pressure vacuum vents, vacuum relief vents, gauge hatch, fire fighting instruments, and flame arresters in 2006.
